For over six years ProStructure Consulting has provided high-end security, computing, network, and compliance engineering and management direction to technology driven companies and Government agencies.  Our experts each average over ten years of  experience providing enterprise-level information security and computing architecture services. We value individualized support and customized solutions; working within your environment to create interoperable systems and develop sustainable policies.

Unlike most agencies that provide these types of services, ProStructure does not resell nor receive any compensation based upon any technologies, vendors, or solutions that ProStructure Consultants recommend.  This allows ProStructure to provide unbiased opinions based upon our client’s specific needs and situations. Our recommendations are tailored to your individual environment  as opposed to being influenced products  by we sell or companies with which we have partnered.

The Team

Brandon Psmythe – Principal Consultant

Brandon has been designing, securing, auditing, and troubleshooting large scale computing environments and data centers for over 15 years.  In these roles he has performed extensive analysis of existing networks, server infrastructure, and process flow in order to ensure the reliability and security of the services and data.  Brandon spent seven years as a network and data center manager at Intel presiding over the networks and server rooms that served the engineers who designed the Pentium II, III, and IV chipsets.  The data and processes there contained Intel’s most valuable intellectual property, the designs of their Pentium chipsets.  Brandon then spent over two and a half years evaluating, redesigning and securing the networks and data centers for NetIQ/WebTrends Corporation.  The WebTrends products collect massive amounts of data on individuals, based on their web surfing and spending habits, and the level of confidentiality of this data was extremely high.  Since starting ProStructure Consulting in 2003 Brandon has performed many risk assessments and audits for both private and government agencies.

Amber Pham- Senior Systems Security Consultant

Amber not only has years of experience as a technical security specialist but has also sought continual education in the area of information security, using independent research to keep pace with emerging trends and technologies.  Beginning with her work experience as the team security specialist in a Network Operations Center, Amber began focusing her expertise in the areas of information security knowledge, as well as the project management skills required to facilitate inter-departmental interaction for complex projects.  At Intel, Amber enjoyed designing and implementing, both from a technical and project management standpoint, a web/SQL hosting platform.  Since beginning work as a consultant for ProStructure nearly three years ago, Amber has lead the technical analysis of Windows environment security on several security assessment projects.

Micah McNelly – Senior Systems Consultant

Micah McNelly has been helping organizations design, deploy, and operate secure, highly available, and cost effective computing environments for 12 years. Prior to ProStructure, Micah was the Sr. Manager of IT Operations for Dotster, Inc, a leading domain name registrar and hosting company.  At Dotster, Micah was responsible for the design, deployment, and continued availability of Dotster’s DNS platform, E-mail Hosting, Virtualization, Shared Hosting, and Domain Registration OLTP Environment.  Micah was also responsible for the ongoing management of the ZoneEdit DNS platform, and .GOV TLD services.  Prior to Dotster, Micah held positions at Cerulic as a Network Architect, and LivePerson.com as a Core Systems and Network Engineer.  Micah’s strong understanding of the relationship among systems, networks, storage, and software provide him the ability to identify and resolve complex problems with a holistic approach.
