Unlike most agencies that provide these types of services, ProStructure does not resell nor receive any compensation based upon any technologies, vendors, or solutions that ProStructure Consultants recommend. This allows ProStructure to provide unbiased opinions based upon our client’s specific needs and situations. Our recommendations are tailored to your individual environment, as opposed to being influenced by products we sell or companies with which we have partnered.
The Team
Brandon Psmythe, Principal Consultant
With over 15 years of experience, Brandon brings a wealth of expertise to designing, securing, auditing, and troubleshooting large scale computing environments and data centers. He’s performed extensive analysis of existing networks, server infrastructures, and process flows to ensure the reliability and security of services and data in a variety of settings.
Brandon spent 7 years at Intel as a Network and Data Center Manager, presiding over the networks and server rooms that served the engineers who designed the Pentium II, III, and IV chipsets. These data and processes contained Intel’s most valuable intellectual property: the designs of their Pentium chipsets.
Brandon also spent 2½ years at NetIQ/WebTrends Corporation evaluating, redesigning and securing their networks and data centers. WebTrends products collect massive amounts of data on individuals based on their web surfing and spending habits, and the level of integrity and confidentiality needed for this data was extremely high.
Since he started ProStructure Consulting in 2003, Brandon has worked with both private and public sector clients to provide in-depth security and infrastructure assessments and designs.
Micah McNelly, Senior Systems Consultant
Micah joined ProStructure in 2009, bringing expertise in Unix, highly available networks, storage, security and systems engineering.
With over 12 years of experience, Micah is thoroughly proficient in designing and deploying secure, highly available, and cost effective computing environments. His strong understanding of the relationship between systems, networks, storage, and software allows him to identify and resolve complex problems with a holistic approach.
Prior to ProStructure, Micah was the Senior Manager of IT Operations at Dotster, Inc, a leading domain name registrar and hosting company. He was responsible for the design, deployment, and continued availability of the DNS platform, E-mail Hosting, Virtualization, Shared Hosting, and Domain Registration OLTP Environment. He also provided ongoing management of the ZoneEdit DNS platform and .GOV DNS TLD services. Micah has also been a Network Architect and Systems Engineer for other Internet and application service providers.
Joel Meadows, Account Manager
Joel joined ProStructure in 2010 as the primary project & account manager, and provides technical backup to the rest of the team as well. Joel has over fourteen years of technical IT experience, focusing on Windows systems and network migrations & upgrades. Joel also has over five years of sales and project management experience in both the IT and construction industries.
Prior to joining ProStructure, Joel spent ten years in the Washington DC area working as a Network and Microsoft Windows engineer for TRW, Tetra Tech, Inc. and mindSHIFT Technologies, Inc. Joel joined mindSHIFT in its infancy and helped to grow the company to its current position as one of the top MSPs in the country.
Joel’s unique blend of technical understanding, communication skills, and positive attitude allow him to effectively manage ProStructure’s projects, as well as assist in ProStructure’s sales and marketing efforts. He looks forward to being a part of ProStructure’s continued growth as one of the leading IT consultancies in the Pacific Northwest.
